Ordering, delivery and warranty

Prices and VAT

Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.

Guide prices for spares require confirmation of VAT, delivery, availability and compatibility.

Payment and deposits

Machinery priced at £5,000 or more including VAT, excluding delivery, can be paid with a 30% deposit. The remaining balance must be paid before delivery.

Machinery below £5,000 including VAT is payable in full. Tooling and spares are payable in full.

Delivery and unloading

Free mainland UK delivery applies only where stated on the product or quotation. Other delivery, offloading, positioning, commissioning and training are quoted for the machine and site.

Where delivery includes customer unloading, you must arrange suitable equipment and safe access. Send your postcode and access details with the enquiry.

Warranty and service

All new machines include a 24-month parts-and-labour warranty.

Ask Carter to confirm the warranty details for your quotation. Report a fault with the machine model, serial number and a description of the problem.

Lead time and specification

Availability and lead times are confirmed with your quotation. Check the machine capacity, electrical supply, tooling and required options before ordering.

Electrical work is limited to the machine side. Customer premises electrical work must be arranged separately.

Changes, cancellations and returns

An accepted order may not be cancelled without Carter’s written agreement.

Do not return goods without Carter’s written authorisation.
