Segmented top tooling provides clearance for previously folded sides when forming boxes and trays. The top beam adjusts for material thickness and bend radius.
A 650 mm manual rack-and-pinion rear backgauge, angle gauge and repeat-bend angle stop help set up repeated work.
Two adjustable counterweights assist the folding beam. These manually operated machines require no electrical supply.
Start with the longest fold, sheet thickness and material grade. For boxes and trays, also check the required box depth, flange size and tooling clearance. Send a drawing or sample dimensions with your enquiry so we can check the arrangement.
A box and pan folder clamps the sheet and folds it with a hinged beam. A press brake forms the bend between a punch and die. Your part shape and production requirements will help determine which is more suitable.
